On January 15th, we held the Kick-off Meeting of the innovative research project DIH4AI "AI on-demand platform for regional interoperable Digital Innovation Hubs Network" funded by the EU Commission through the Horizon 2020 Programme.

 

DIH4AI aims at building a network of AI-on-demand innovation and collaboration platforms, interoperable with the AI4EU platform, supporting the joint development and provision of services through a sustainable network of regional AI DIHs and targeting local SMEs and GovTech agencies.

During the event, held online, the 12 Members of the Consortium, coming from 6 different European Countries, and representing  DIHs, SMEs, Universities and Industry players, exchanged information on both the project contents and organisational and coordination issues, planning activities and forms of collaboration.

Leveraging the results of the AI DIH Network and MIDIH projects, the Consortium, coordinated by Politecnico di Milano, will deploy all its expertise and skills with a view to connecting regional and central European AI DIHs’ ecosystems.

 

Throughout the project, which will last 36 months, many experiments and two waves of open calls will be carried out, as well as many workshops, webcasts, events and open days will be organised involving and engaging numerous stakeholders, including SMEs, GovTech agencies and (E)DIHs.
