I-PAR-2: AI Ethical assessment

Experiment Description

DIGIHALL investigated the possibility to exploit the framework in the ETAPASproject (H2020 RIA) for the assessment of AI solutions of SMEs from their customer base. The ETAPAS project provided a set of indicators to guide the responsible development and adoption of disruptive technologies. Such methodology were used as new ways to measure the risks of AI adoption here. The experiment assessed if the services could lead to another cross-DIH experimentation scenario in the future

Impact

Thanks to contacts facilitated by Hub France IA, one SME working in Human Resources (HR) accepted under NDA to take part in this experimentation. This HR SME was very well suited to testing the ETAPAS AI ethical assessment approach outside of the Public Administration’s domain. The company CEO was very satisfied with the experimentation based on the replies provided in the feedback questionnaire. A section focusing on “Early adopters of the platform” will allow understanding how to better target potential future users of the ETAPAS ethical assessment platform.
