Experiment Description

Fortiss will setup a simulated, virtual district of some houses (energy demand and supply) and connect them to a local energy market (electricity and heat). In addition, external partners can either directly connect or provide the load/demand profiles of their buildings, to include them in the market simulation. A participant must implement the according interfaces to place, change or remove own bids and offers 15 minutes prior to the clearing period. One offer consists of validity period, volume and price.All bids are not knownto other participants. Furthermore, one house or agent can, based on AI/ML or any other strategy, try to minimize costs or maximize profit when participating at the market
